Micro Market Route Driver

Snacktime Vending, a leading regional vending company, is seeking energetic, driven, and technologically savvy applicants to fill a full-time position as a Micro Market Route Driver. We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who possesses excellent problem-solving skills and solid people skills that can be confirmed from reliable references.

A Micro Market Route Driver is considered an employee that drives a commercial van daily (no CDL required), and when in the warehouse, utilizes a Windows PC and/or an Apple iPad to generate inventory orders. Once orders are generated, the driver physically allocates, loads, and transports to customer locations. On location, the driver stocks and maintains open-air retail markets that consist of snack displays, food, soda, coffee, condiments, supplies, and self-checkout equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting micro market operations including servicing, cleaning, restocking, and inventorying daily on location
• Utilizing computer software to generate inventory orders and reports
• Managing and controlling inventory levels in a professional manner
• Ensuring that micro markets are always fully stocked, clean, and operational
• Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication
• Providing sales support
• Pushing individual products based on margin
• Offering new items when available 
• Up-selling other services
• Demonstrating basic computer literacy and comfortability with technology in general
• Managing routes and logistics

Qualifications

• A proven track record of independent problem solving and strong time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
• High energy and strong work ethic
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift and move heavy loads of up to 50 lbs.
• History of customer service
• Proven dependability/attendance record
• Previous use of technology and software
• Value independence and freedom within the job description
• Desire for routine
